About	Jerry Banks Ferguson, 77, of Roanoke, Va., left his farm on earth to go to his Heavenly home on Thursday, March 16, 2017. He is survived by his wife, Connie; brother, Brooks Ferguson; sister, Gay Mooke; sons, Troy and Scott Ferguson and their families; four grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and daughter-in-law and special friend, Janet Ferguson. A special thanks to Joyce, Margaret, Ann and Mary for their loving care of Jerry. Jerry was a graduate of William Byrd High School where his love was football. He was an avid vintage Volkswagen enthusiast where he won several trophies at shows. He was Vice President of Ferguson Transfer until 1983 and President until his retirement in 2008. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
