Dustin Lee McGhee, 36, of Roanoke, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 9, 2017. He was born in Roanoke, beloved son of Debra “Debbie” Lawson McGhee and the late Terry Lynn McGhee. In addition to his father he was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Larry and Edna McGhee; maternal grandmother Tommie Lawson; and uncles, Doug Lawson, and Doug McGhee. Dustin was a graduate of William Byrd high school and was a huge fan of WWE wrestling. In addition to his mother he is also survived by his grandfather, A.J. Lawson, aunts, Dawn Estrada, Denise Boone (Kenny), Rebecca Manning, Karen Mills (Wayne); and uncle, David Lawson (Jadi); his caregiver Carolyn Otey; and numerous other family members and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 15, 2017 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Pastor T.R. King will officiate and entombment will follow at The Chapel Mausoleum of Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel.
