About	Nancy Joyce Moody, age 80, of Starke, Florida passed away on March 10, 2023, at E.T. York Care Center in Gainesville, Florida. Joyce was born in Roanoke, Virginia on April 29, 1942, to the late Jack Musselman and Ethel Mowles Musselman. She was raised in Virginia and graduated from William Byrd High School in 1960. After high school she attended Arlington Baptist College in Arlington, TX and graduated with her bachelor's degree in Christian Education. Joyce married the love of her life, Raymond Moody, on January 14, 1967, and together they shared 53 wonderful years. Joyce has been a resident of Florida since 1978. She devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She served in the music ministry with her husband at Pine Level Baptist Church for many years and, in more recent years before entering Windsor Health and Rehabilitation Center, she was an active member of Madison Street Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed her longtime career as a bookkeeper with Central FL Office Plus where she retired after serving 20 years. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, helping make craft books for newborns and weddings, and creating family keepsakes with photos. Most of all, Joyce loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Ethel Musselman; loving husband Raymond Moody; sisters Eileen Watson, Mary Francis Musselman (who lived only 2 short days), Alice Fay Orange, and Eleanor Horner; brothers Dennis Musselman and Billy Musselman; brothers-in-law Bob Watson and James Horner; sisters-in-law Maxine Musselman; nephew Steve Orange. Joyce is survived by her children, Tim (Pam) Moody of Starke, FL, and Jeff (Kem) Moody of Gainesville, FL; grandchildren Lauren, Ethan, Josiah (Sarah Cate), Sarah Beth, and Hannah Moody; siblings Curtis (Brenda) Musselman, Richard (Martha) Musselman, Kathy Mullins, Reba Musselman, and Gloria (Marshall) Dewitt; along with extended family members she loved dearly. A Celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, at 2:00pm at Archie Tanner Memorial Chapel in Starke, FL with her son Jeff Moody officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Kingsley Lake Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
