About Sandra Chisom White, 78, of Memphis, TN, formerly of Roanoke, VA, passed away peacefully on December 27th surrounded by her loved ones. Born on April 16, 1946, in Roanoke, VA, she was the cherished daughter of Frank and Mary Chisom and the devoted wife of 59 years to Randall White. Sandra grew up in Roanoke, where she graduated from William Byrd High School and attended Roanoke College. She began her professional career at Celanese Corp in Pearisburg, VA. In 1965, Sandra married the love of her life, Randall, and they relocated to Memphis, TN, in 1970. Over the years, she worked in Avon and real estate sales and later as a secretary at FedEx, where she retired in 2003. Sandra was a woman of many talents and interests. She found joy in solving crossword puzzles, expressing her creativity through crafting, and spending treasured moments watching movies with her grandchildren. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her. She was predeceased by her father, Frank Chisom; her beloved brother, Howard Chisom; and her dear cousin, Iris Lovern. Sandra's memory will forever be cherished by her mother, Mary Chisom; her sisters, Dorothea Martin and Deborah Richards of Roanoke, VA; her devoted husband, Randall White; her son, Stephen White; her daughter, Valerie Moranville; and her adored grandchildren, Lynn, John, and Aiden, all of Memphis, TN. Sandra's life was a testament to love, resilience, and dedication to family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 from 3:00pm to 6:00pm at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
