About	Amy Catherine Ferris, 23, of Vinton, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, September 20, 2007. She was raised in Roanoke County and graduated from William Byrd High School in 2002. She was employed by Goody's Family Clothing. She is predeceased by her grandfathers, David L. Dollyhigh and George Albert Ferris. She will be greatly missed by her mother and father, Bobbie D. Morrison and Gary E. Ferris; sister, Joanna Nicole May; grandmothers, Virginia C. Ferris and Betty T. Greenway; stepgrandfather, Eugene R. Greenway; niece, Dyllan Nicole May; aunt, Robin D. Kidd (David); cousins, Tabatha Henderson (Jeremy), Charly Jones (Alex) and families; aunts, Debbie, Kathy, Opal, Pam and Davanna; uncles, Dale and Albert; fiance, Eric Burfard and son, Thomas, who she will love throughout eternity; and best friend, Holly Deweese. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel on Monday, September 24, 2007 at 12 Noon. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22, 2007 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Sunday, September 23, 2007 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Arrangements by Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 540-982-2221.
