Greenwood SC - Mrs. Margie Staton Wells, 32, died suddenly, Saturday morning [June 16, 1962]. She was a native of Roanoke County VA and a daughter of D. G. and Eliaveth Padgett Staton. She had been living in Greenwood for the past two months and prior to that in Roanoke VA. Surviving in addition to her parents are the husband Douglas Wells; two sons, Michael and Monty Ray wells both of the home; and a brother, James A. Staton of Orlando FL. Funeral in Roanoke VA.
