Azile Funk Smith 78 of Roanoke died Wednesday, December 18, 1996.
She was a member Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church, the Vinton Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and a retired Floral Designer from Green Thumb Florist.
She was the widow of Herman W. Smith.
Surviving are daughters and on-in-law , Peggy Dosier, N.C., Rebecca and Bob Rhodes, New Port Richie, Fla.; grandsons, Robin Dosier, Sam Taylor; granddaughter, Andi Taylor; brother, Guy V. Funk, Roanoke; sisters, Josephine F. Sapp, Roanoke, Rae F. Haga, Richmond; several nieces and nephews including a special niece, Punkin Dooley, Roanoke.
Funeral service will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 21, 1996 with the Rev. Dr. George Wesley Jones officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
