Wayne Fuller Gray, age 65, of Vinton, passed away Tuesday in his home. He was retired from Roanoke County School Board and American Bridge, he also served with the Army Air Force during World War II. He was a member of Vinton Masonic Lodge #204 A.F. and A.M. Survivors include his mother, Margie T. Gray, Vinton; three sons, Joseph M. Gray, Roanoke; Robert E. Gray, Fieldale; Wayne F. (Speedie) Gray, Jr., Jacksonville, Fla.; two daughters, Mrs. George (Jean Anne) Brammer, Goodview; Mrs. Chris (Beth) Magee, Ottuma, Iowa; one brother, Wista L. Gray, Roanoke County; one sister, Betty Jo Wilkerson, Roanoke County; eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday from Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Wm. Anthony Layman will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorials may be made to the Vinton Rescue Squad. Masonic service will be 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
