About	Nancy Whitmire Keeler, of Roanoke and formerly of Smith Mountain Lake, was called home to her Father in heaven on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the wonderful age of 91. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph T. Keeler, Sr.; her parents, Veritas F. Whitmire and Addie Grace Huff Whitmire; 2 brothers, Charles W. Whitmire and Roy F. Whitmire; grandchildren, Joseph Albert Henry and Krystal Marie Henry. In her glorious years, she was a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She loved bowling, playing golf, playing bridge and spending every moment she could with her family and friends. She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Keeler Greer and husband Steve E. Greer of Roanoke; son, J.T. Keeler, Jr. and wife, Kathy Staudt Keeler, of Midlothian; grandchildren, Nikki Mayberry and husband, Greg Mayberry, Maggie Jo Henry, Joseph T. Keeler, III, (Trey), Kenneth Harrison Keeler, Steven Barrett Keeler; great grandchildren, Spencer Trivett and Kinsley Trivett. Special thanks to all of her friends at Pheasant Ridge The Village, Our Lady of the Valley and Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for all the love and care. “The Song May Be Ending, but the beautiful melody will forever linger on”. You will be forever in our hearts, Momma! Funeral services will be at 10am on Monday, July 24, 2017 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with Rev. Branan Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday, July 23, 2017.
