About	GUILLIAMS, Flemon Irvine, (''Gill""), 72, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, November 14, 1996. Mr. Guilliams was a member of the 101st Airborne Division of the United States Army, serving during World War II, and he was captured during the Battle of Bastone on Christmas Eve, 1944. He retired after 33 1/2 years of service as a nursing assistant at the Veterans Hospital in Salem, VA. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Katherine H. (Kitty) Guilliams; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Richard Kerstetter, Houston, Texas, Donna Fay and Morris Johnson, Houston, Texas; granddaughters, Lori Ann Austin, Shannon Kay Johnson; brother and sister-in-law, Curtis and Carol Guilliams, Roanoke; nephew, Jonathan Guilliams. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Monday, November 18, 1996, at Sherwood Memorial Park with Rev. Jim Milner officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Oakey's North Chapel.
