About	WELLS, Irma Sprouse, 84, resident of Gainesville, Fla., native of Vinton and 70 year resident of Roanoke, died Friday, March 28, 2003 in Gainesville, Fla. A longtime member of Preston Oaks Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Wells, son George W. Wells and sister, Elizabeth Harvey of Vinton. Surviving are her children, Allen Wells and wife, Cindy of Gainesville, Fla., Dorothy Wells Bennett and husband, Dan of Pinehurst, N.C.; sister, Ethel Clark of Naples, Fla.; grandchildren, Dan Bennett, Matthew Bennett, Jack C. Wells, Allison W. Krantz and Andrew Bennett; seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Oakey's North Chapel Tuesday, April 1, 2003 at 11 a.m. with the Rev. James Millsaps officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday, March 31, 2003 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Oakey's North Chapel.
