About	JACOBS, Wallace W. ("Jake"), 77, of Roanoke, died Monday, December 28, 1998. He was a veteran serving in the 246 Coast Artillery, U.S. Army. He was a member of the Clearbrook Rescue Squad for over 38 years and is survived by his wife, Eileen S. Jacobs; son and daughter-in-law, Roger A. and Pamela Jacobs; stepgrandsons, Brandon and Chad Howard. Funeral services will be held 12 p.m. Thursday, December 31, at the Lotz Roanoke Chapel by Rev. Elwood McAllister with burial in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens.
