Charles Wayne Mills, age 48, of Vinton, died Sunday at his home. He was employed with Sears. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Joyce Mills; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael Todd and Wanda Ann Mills, Boones Mill; two sons, Jeffrey Scott Mills and Ricky Lee Mills, both of Vinton; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Mills Sr., Vinton; one brother, Fred W. Mills Jr., Vinton; granddaughter, Ashleigh Renee Mills. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 7, at 11:00 a.m. at the Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Lon E. Hicks officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. Friends may call at Lotz Vinton Chapel after 12:00 noon Monday.
