Sandra “Sandy” Marie Morgan, 43, of Vinton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 8, 2016. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alexis Danielle Board. She is survived by her best friend and partner for life, Austin Board, her parents; Jack Morgan (Nancy) of Oneida NY, and Crystal Rhodes (Malcolm), of Vinton, her brother John Morgan Jr., (Kim) of Culpeper, step sisters, Heidi Williams, Dawn, Katrina, and Sonya Rhodes, nieces and nephews: Dana Morgan, Alvin, Jr., Jaylen, Shanickwa , Aiisha, Ramon Jr., Lamont, Travis and Dewayne, many beloved aunts ,uncles, other relatives and numerous friends. Sandy worked for Member One for 17 years until recently transferring to Wells Fargo. She enjoyed bowling and was active in leagues at both Vinton and Hilltop Lanes. Her service will be held 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Doug Powers will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel.
