Jason Edward Ferguson, 17, of Vinton, died Wednesday, July 27, 1994. He was a student at William Byrd High School. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Sue V. and John Churn, of Vinton; father and stepmother, Guy L. and Layne C. Ferguson, of Vinton; grandmothers, Nannie H. Ferguson and Laura Catherine Vaughan, of Vinton; a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel 10 a.m., Saturday with the Rev. Kevin Meadows officiating. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton. The family will receive friends from 7 - 9 p.m. Friday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
