Jason Trevor McDaniel, 35, of Roanoke, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 17, 2014 after struggling with health issues for the past several years. He was born September 26, 1978 and graduated from William Byrd High School in 1996. Jason was always willing to help out a friend and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a strong willed individual and protected those he loved. Funeral Services will be held at noon on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Old Dominion Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Pastor David Jones officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton. Jason's passing will leave an emptiness in the hearts of all who knew him.
