Danielle Russo, 18, of Roanoke County, died Sunday, August 30, 1998, as the result of an automobile accident.
Danielle was a 1998 graduate of William Byrd High School, where she was a member of the school choir and was a freshman at Emory and Henry College.
Surviving are her parents, Nicholas and Linda Russo; her brothers, Erik and Justin Page, Florida; her grandparents, Nick Russo Sr., New Jersey, Lillian Poling, Florida; an uncle, Donald Russo; an aunt, Eileen Garvin, both of New Jersey; two nephews.
A funeral service will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel Wednesday, September 2, 11 a.m. with the Rev. J. Allie McNider officiating. Interment in Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the General Scholarship Fund at Emory and Henry College, P.O. Box 950, Emory, VA 24327. The family will receive friends Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
