TURNER, C. Stephen Jr., 29, of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at his residence. He is survived by a very special and loving family, his mother, Judy Hall Brogan and stepfather, Patrick J. (Pops) Brogan; a sister, Ashley M. Crain of Charlottesville; stepbrother, Scott Brogan of Vinton; stepsisters, Leslie Wohlford of Maine, Jill King of Roanoke; maternal grandparents, Rufus and Evelyn Hall of Vinton; loving aunts and uncles, Carol and Wilson Potts of Roanoke, Brenda and Jim Black of Texas, JoAnn and Michael Jamison of Roanoke; numerous very dear cousins. He was preceded in death by a high school buddy, Greg Cawley. Also survived by his father, Carl Turner of Montvale. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2001 from the Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth R. Butterworth will officiate. Burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.
