About Wilma M. (Eileen) Watson, 72, of Vinton, passed away Thursday, March 9, 2006. She was a member of Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church for over 40 years. Eileen was past President of the Thursday Morning Music Club and former member of the Roanoke Valley Chorus. She worked for Kroger for about 20 years before becoming an LPN. She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Ethel Mowles Musselman; a brother, Dennis A. Musselman; a sister, Mary Frances Musselman; and sons, Robert A. Watson, Sr. and Andrew W. Watson. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Robert L. Watson, Jr.; daughters, Deborah W. Hans and husband, Steve, of Oakland Park, Fla., Harriet W. Kennedy and husband, Bob, of Lynchburg, Anita W. Lumsden and husband, Al, of Boones Mill; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great great grandchild; brothers, Jack Musselman and wife, Louise, of Vinton, Curtis Musselman and wife, Brenda, of Goodview, Richard Musselman and wife, Martha, of Vinton; sisters, Eleanor Horner and husband, Jimmy, of Roanoke, Alice Faye Orange and husband, Kenneth, of Roanoke, Joyce Moody and husband, Raymond, of Starke, Fla., Kathy Mullins of Boones Mill, Reba Musselman of Vinton, Gloria DeWitt and husband, Marshall, of Snellville, Ga.; sister-in-law, Maxine Musselman; and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the third floor Carilion Cancer Center nurses, Carilion Hospice Care, and all who helped in her care. Funeral services will be conducted from Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church noon on Monday, March 13, 2006 with the Rev. Dr. Robin L. Colwell and the Rev. April Hall officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Buchanan. Flowers will be appreciated, or memorials may be made to the Choir of Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church or the scholarship program of the Thursday Morning Music Club. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Oakeys Vinton Chapel, 982-2221.
