Tracy Lavern Preston Board, 59, of Roanoke, departed this life on Saturday, January 5, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, LaCole Board; twin granddaughters and mother, Lucille Preston. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Alvin Board Sr.; son, Alvin “AJ” Board Jr.; grandson, Isaiah Board; parents, George (Toni) Preston; sisters, Debra (Pete) Hagins and Pam (Keith) Montree; brother, Darryl (Gretchen) Preston; sisters-in-law, Rita (Sam) Winbish, Melvena Board (Donald) and Tonya Board; brothers-in-law, James (Tina) Board Jr., Austin Board and Brian (Nicole) Board; a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2019, in the Hamlar-Curtis Chapel with Bishop Frank English officiating and Pastor James R. Calloway, Eulogist. The family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service. Interment will be in Williams Memorial Park. Friends may call on Thursday afternoon for viewing at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
