About	Sharon Dooley Patton, 52, of Atlanta, GA quietly passed away in the early morning hours of January 4th after an aggressive battle with early on-set Dementia. Sharon was born April 7, 1967 in Roanoke, VA, the first child to Sandra Cole and Gene Dooley. She has been surrounded in life by loving family and friends including son Chase Patton [father Greg Patton], younger siblings, Cheryl Dooley Mathews, and Stephen Dooley, as well as surviving parent Sandra Cole Dooley. Sharon was a much loved little girl who grew up enchanted by music which carried through her whole life. She was a fiercely loyal mother to Chase, dedicated completely to the well-being of her loving family unit. Sharon was a member of the 1985 graduating class at William Byrd High School and attended Roanoke College in Salem, VA and Kennesaw University in Kennesaw, GA, attaining a degree in Finance. A public memorial service will be held at 4pm at Southern Cremation and Funerals in Marietta, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Sharon's name to The Association of Frontotemporal Degeneration. "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened." -Dr. Seuss
