About	Tina Cook Woods, 52, of Goodview, went to be with the Lord after a lengthy battle with cancer, Tuesday, June 10, 1997. She was a teacher at William Byrd Middle School, for 30 years. She was an organist at Barnhardt Baptist Church. She was a graduate of William Byrd High School, Bob Jones University in Greenville S.C. and Virginia Tech. Mrs Woods was preceded in death by her father Earnest G. Cook. Surviving are her husband, Harry C. Woods Jr.; her mother Elizabeth S. Cook; a stepson Michael R. Woods; her brothers and sisters in law, Charles and Norma Cook, John and Patsy Cook, Bill Cook, David and Anne Cook; her sister and brother in law, Martha and Kenny Gray; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harry and Margie Woods; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Willie Belle and Buddy St. John, Jannie and Jay Shifflett; nieces and nephews, Wanda C. and Bill Wyatt, Chuck Cook, Jennifer C. and Mike Selig, Meredith Cook, Christa C. and Rodney Yates, Amy C. and Steven Campbell, Jill C. and Terry Thomas, Jason Gray and Lindsay Gray, Billy and Elisa Shifftlett; great-nieces and nephews, Katie, Zachary, Justin and Joshua Wyatt, B rian and Matt Yates, Kara Weeks, Dylan Campbell; aunts and uncles, Mildred St. Clair, Willie Holdren, Bessie Loyd, Lottie Harper and Jake Cook. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 1997, at the Barnhardt Baptist Church, Stewartsville, with the Rev. Terry A. Mabrey officiating, Intermet will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, June 11, 1997, at Oakeys Vinton Chapel.
