About	Heath Brogan, 43, of Vinton, Va., passed away at home on Tuesday, December 3, 2019. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond E. and Dorothy Brogan, Russell E. King Sr. and Harold E. Richards; aunts and uncles, Mary Whitis, Johnny Brogan, R.E. King Jr., Vivian K. Moore, and Donna Holloway King. Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Dillon Gaige Brogan; his son’s mother, Leigh Anne Layman; his parents, Richard and Debra Brogan; his sister, Lenore Brogan Paradis and her husband, Mark; nieces Alivia and McKenna Paradis; grandmother, Evelyn K. Richards; one Godson, Evan McKinley, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; best friend, Mary Frances Chambers; and many special life-long family and friends. Heath lived life to the fullest and made each day count. He adored and lived life for his son, Gaige. Heath was an awesome son, brother, uncle, and father, and he never met a stranger. Heath graduated from William Byrd High School in 1994 and ITT Technical College in 2014. He was employed by Engineering Concepts in Fincastle, Va. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Pastor B. Failes will officiate Visitation to be held from noon until 2 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
