She was a native of Roanoke, Office Manager at Ettrick Elementary School and past President of the C.E.O.P.A. She is survived by her husband, W. Reid Deaton; son, William Reid (Will) Deaton, Jr., Pennsacola, Florida; two daughters, Wendy Deaton Conner, Birmingham, Alabama, Nancy Suzanne Deaton, Chester; grandson, Deaton Earl Conner, Birmingham; parents, Earl R. and Bertha Jamison Fisher; two sisters, Roma Ann Myers and Nancy Fisher Helm; two brothers, Danny Floyd and Maurice Fisher, all of Roanoke.
