Brenda Colleen McDaniel, 70, of Huntsville, Texas, formerly of Vinton, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012, following a long illness.
She was a retired Registered Nurse, and a graduate of William Byrd High School, Vinton.
Colleen was the daughter of Melvin Zachary Humphreys and Dorothy Chittum Humphreys. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by her sons, David (Suni) of Austin, Texas, Keith of Huntsville, Texas and Joe (Stephanie) of Ferrum; and granddaughters, Kiana, Leilani and Nani, also of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by her sister, Melinda Humphreys Mays, of Ashburn.
A celebration of Colleen's life will be held 6 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2012 at Logan's Roadhouse Restaurant, 4740 Valley View Blvd, Roanoke.
