About	Ronnie Underwood, 72, of the Mt. Pleasant Community of Roanoke, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. He was born in Roanoke, son of the late Raymond and Christine Underwood. Ronnie was known as “Ronnie on the Spot”. Folks who needed him knew he was available at any time. He was workaholic, working full time as a plumber for Randall Webb Plumbing and a farmer. He did enjoy playing golf and going to baseball games. Ronnie is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 52 years, Bonnie; his son Greg Underwood. He was Paw Paw to his four grandchildren; Cody Underwood, Broc Underwood, Johanna Underwood, Isabella Underwood he loved spending time with them. He is also survived by his brother, Garfield Underwood (Teresa); his sister Patricia Ann Church I(Derek);sisters-in-law Diane Marr and Carolyn Robertson; nephews, Stephen, Thomas and Doug; nieces, Ashley, Melody and Tracey; his best friend and farm buddy Roger Webb; numerous other family members and friends. His family will; gather to receive friends 1:00 pm Tuesday March 16, 2021 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel, followed by a celebration of his life at 2:00. In lieu of flowers please consider the Mt.
