About	Leilani Leffell Cooper, 81, of the Mount Pleasant Community in Roanoke, Virginia, died on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. She was born on July 5, 1940, and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Hal J. Cooper. She is survived by her son, David and wife, Donna; two brothers, David Leffell and wife, Donna, and Phillip Leffell and wife, Alice; their special sister, Angie Hall; daughter, Leilani Lynn; son-in-law, Steve; and three grandchildren, Julianne Terry and husband, Ross, Christie Epperly, and Cameron Cooper and wife, Brittney. There are six great-grandchildren that Leilani loved dearly. She was a longtime Registered Nurse at the VA Medical Center in Salem. She was very dedicated and proficient at her career, and she spent most of her younger years at the lake and devoted her life to her family. She also loved her dogs so much. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2021, at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery in Vinton.
