About	Linda Settle Crawford, 70 of Vinton, VA passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 24, 1951 to John C. and Nellie Owen Settle who proceeded her. She was also proceeded by her husband Kyle Berkley Crawford, her son Jerry Wayne Walker, two sisters Norma S. Miller, Martha S. Gaylor and a brother Calvin Settle. She is survived by her daughter, Janet, and her husband Jacob Darling and her granddaughter Mackenzie Darling. She has two sisters still in the Roanoke area, Sandra Chewning, her husband LeeRay and Carolyn Huddelston. She was close with several nieces and nephews. Linda was born and raised in Vinton and lived across the street from her childhood home. She graduated from William Byrd in 1969. She worked for Halmode Apparel for 28 years, Rowe Furniture for 12 and was currently employed by Dunman Floral Supply. Linda loved bowling, lighthouses, going to dinner with her friends every Friday night as well as short road trips. She also loved her 60lbs lap dog Savannah. She always had a smile and remember everyone's birthday. Linda will be greatly missed by her friends and family The Funeral Service will be conducted at 10am on Monday, January 31 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow the service at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 9am-10am with service to follow at 10am at the funeral home.
