Coy L. Weaver, 87, of Roanoke, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, May 19, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Virginia Weaver, and his sister, Judy Furrow.
Surviving to cherish his memory is his wife of 63 years, Deanna Weaver; children, Sherri Musselman, Lee Weaver (Anita), and Codé Sizemore (Steve); grandchildren, Ty Musselman, Carson Patton, Parker Sizemore, Maddux Sizemore, and Brandon Weaver; and his sister, Lois Weaver.
Coy served in the United States Air Force and retired from the City of Roanoke. He enjoyed his ham radio, woodworking, golf, and spending time with his grandchildren and all his four-legged companions. He was a member of Belmont Christian Church for more than 60 years where he served as an elder.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Burial will follow at the Gearheart Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at the funeral home.
Flowers are appreciated or donations may be made to Belmont Christian Church in honor of Coy.
