About	Joseph Howard Arrington, 83, of Salem, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Joe is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Emily Arrington; daughter, Leslie; sisters, Gail Arrington Law ('61) (Jimmy) of Rocky Mount, Patsy Ball (Carl) of Roanoke; special long time business partner, Jerry Cole (Pat) of Salem; sister-in-law, Twila Bowen (Bill) of Harrells, N.C. Joe and Jerry owned Salem Printing for 37 years before retirement. Joe loved racing, sports cars, and most of all, his family. He was the best husband and father in the world. Special thanks to the 7 South CCU doctors and nurses at CRMH, who helped my sweet Dad. Friends may pay their respects to Mr. Arrington from the hours of 2 until 4 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home in Salem. A private graveside will be conducted at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Roanoke.
