Brenda Jones Allie, 75, of Vinton, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 1, 2023. She loved her family and the Lord and her most enjoyment was shell collecting along the beach.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Ivanhoe and Ola Jones; and her brothers, Sherman and Bobby Jones. Brenda is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William Allie; two daughters, Carmen (Jamie) Archer, Crystal (Chad) Barrett; four grandchildren, Taylor and Christopher Barrett, Reghan and Paiten Archer; one great grandchild, Brody; one sister, Dinah (Bill) Moser; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Allie.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 6, 2023 at Oakey’s East Chapel with Pastor Milton Atkins officiating. Interment will follow in Old Dominion Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM at the funeral home.
