Margaret Trump Smelser, 82 of Roanoke passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. She was born October 9, 1940, daughter of the late Walter and Josephine Trump. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Nelson Smelser; sister, Betty Mathis; brother, Curtis Trump.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan Martin (Doug); sisters, Linda Hamblin (Scott) and Ruby Overstreet (Joe); brother, Walter Trump and a number of nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be 10 am Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Oakey’s North Chapel with Rev. Mark Washington officiating. Entombment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 5 to 8 pm at Oakey’s North Chapel.
