About	Dennis Keith Brown died peacefully at home December 13, 2023, after battling pancreatic cancer. Born in Roanoke, he graduated from William Byrd High School where he played baseball and basketball. After graduating from VA Tech, he served in the U.S. Army in the last draft for Vietnam. For many years, he worked in floor covering sales at several locations. Traveling and watching and discussing sports were his hobbies. A devoted Christian, he volunteered in ministries, served his family, met needs and encouraged others. He will be remembered for his disarming wit and love of family. Predeceased by parents George Linwood and Shirley Cromer Brown, he is survived by wife Susan Brown, daughters Amanda Harrison and Adrienne Brown, son-in-law Keith Harrison, grandsons Aidan, Kenan and Kristopher Harrison, and siblings Barry, Terry and Alan Brown, Sharon Watkins and Faye Worley. Special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice and our church family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Vinton Church of Christ at 11:00, December 30, 2023.
