Woodrow “Skip” Wilson Hale, Jr., was born July 25, 1943 and died January 1, 2024 after a short illness.
Skip was predeceased by his first wife, Linda (Motley) Hale; his son, Thomas Wayne Hale; an infant daughter, Patricia Jean Hale and stepson, Bradley Bo Lymburner.
Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Rose Hale; daughter, Carol Sue Petersen (Nick); grandchildren, Jack and Jenna and Anthony Wayne Hale and Sean and Savanna Smith; stepdaughter, Leslie Smith. Also surviving are his sister, Cynthia Caudill and brother, Barry Hale; nephews, Nate and Ernie Hale.
Skip had many friends. His most recent job was with Homestead Materials Handling. He loved to fish, hunt and go camping. He was known for his quick sense of humor and willingness to help anyone he could. He will be dearly missed by all.
