About	Ralph C. Williamson, 70, of Hardy, Va., passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024. He was born on March 8, 1954, to the late Sue Jeanette Crotty Williamson and Charles W. Williamson Jr. Ralph is survived by his sister, Myra Williamson; brother, Bev Williamson (Linda); sisters-in-law, Linda Kreider (Wayne) and Joy Wills; his beloved wife, Sandra Faye Williamson; daughter and son-in-law, Monica and John McLain; grandchildren, Riley and Jack McLain; special friends, Maurice and Rita Oakes, Kaitlyn Tyree, Fred and Linda Hunziker, and Jill Maddy; many nieces and nephews; and his church family at Franklin Memorial Baptist Church. Ralph retired after a long career at Food Lion. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and in recent years he would take his grandson, Jack, fishing and hunting. He was a wonderful, loving man with a wonderful sense of humor, always a jokester, full of life. He was a faithful member of Franklin Memorial Baptist Church. He loved his family and church family with all his heart. Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 14, 2024, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Richards officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
