About	Ronald Sumner Stone, 57, of Greensboro NC, and formerly of Vinton, died suddenly on January 10, 2018 in San Diego CA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Leslie Stone Chrisemer. Ron was a graduate of William Byrd High School and James Madison University. He was blessed with a gift easily learning foreign languages.and was fluent in six. His survivors include his two sons, Erik Sumner Stone, Christopher Alan Stone (Nicole); granddaughter Logan Marie Stone; his Parents Frank and Janine Stone of Vinton; Sister, Jennifer Stone Hofman (Jerry); his brother Lt. Col Keith Alan Stone (Kristy); and Many special cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A Celebration of Ron’s Life will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, March 10, 2018 Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Rev Allison Burnette will officiate. His family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
