About	Linda Kay Spangler Sandifer, 61, of Vinton, passed away Monday March 17, 2014. She is preceded in death by her mother Marianna Spangler and brother, Mark Spangler. Mrs. Sandifer was a member of Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church but attended and was involved with the churches of the Eagle Rock United Methodist Charge. She was the former owner of SOS/The Office and was involved with Southwest Virginia Emmaus Community. Survivors include her husband of 41 years Rev. Ray Sandifer; daughter Tiffany Meadows; granddaughters, Devlyn and Keely Meadows; father and step-mother Delbert and Becky Spangler; brother, David Spangler and wife Donna; numerous nieces and nephews; special companion Holly Poodle. Special thanks to Good Samaritan Hospice and the staff of 9 South at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. The family will receive friends from 6-9pm Thursday at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Memorial services will be held 3pm Saturday at Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, which Linda would surely kill, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Eagle Rock United Methodist Charge Local Missions Fund, PO Box 42, Glen Wilton, VA 24438.
