Brenda Hall Saunders, of Roanoke, after a strong fight, was carried home by angels on Sunday, January 15, 2012. Brenda was preceded in death by a very special nephew, Stephen Turner. She is survived by her loving parents, Rufus E. and Evelyn Hall; children, Stephanie Brogan, Suzanne Luzier, Bryan Saunders and wife, Jaclyn; nine beautiful grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sisters and brothers-in-law, Carol and Wilson Potts, Judy and Pat Brogan, JoAnn and Mike Jamison; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caring staff and nurses at Berkshire Healthcare Center for their love and concern for Brenda. A service celebrating her life will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, followed by a graveside service at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton.
