About	Carroll A. Cundiff, 67, of Roanoke, Va., lost the fight with cancer on Tuesday afternoon, June 25, 2019. He was affectionately known as “The Kid,” a childhood nickname that followed him until it was replaced by his favorite title of “Poppy.” He was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Lynch Cundiff; father, Wilbur Pleasant Cundiff; and brother, Wilbur Pleasant Cundiff Jr. Carroll is survived by his wife, Senia Cundiff; daughters, Kristi Cundiff, and Jackie Hogan (Buck); son, Greg Cundiff (Amy); grandchildren, Mia Cundiff, Madison Alls, Crosby Cundiff, and Lillee and Owen Hogan; soon to be son-in-law, Mike Condello; sisters, Barbara Lawson, Marcia Bishop (Chuck), Bernice King (Freddie), and Rebecca Martin; brother, David Cundiff (Lisa); in-laws, Linnie Dickson (Debbie) and Sandy Powers (Jack); and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Morales and staff at Blue Ridge Cancer Center of Virginia. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019, from Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Interment will follow at the Ellis Family Cemetery in Union Hall, Va. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, June 28, 2019, at the funeral home.
