About	Richard "Barry" Freeman, Sr., 74, of Vinton, Virginia sadly left us on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Freeman; mother, Ines Smith, beloved step-father, Aubrey Smith; sister, Sandra Gail Freeman; nieces, Shannon Schivone and Ronette Morotta. Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 54 years, Peggy Mills Freeman; favorite daughter, Tammy Roach, and husband Kenny; favorite son, Rick Freeman; two beautiful granddaughters, Kayla Freeman (Matt) and Kayden Freeman; grandsons, Jordon Roach and Thomas Roach; niece, Sherri Sarracino; special fur baby, Sweet Baby girl Zoey Grace; special aunt, Barbara Farmer (Dallas); special cousin, Bud Reed (Sally); also numerous great cousins, aunts, uncles and great nieces. The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, Sunday, July 16, 2023, at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke. A celebration of Barry's life will be held at 11 am, Monday, July 17, 2023, at Lotz Funeral Home Roanoke with Pastor John Ott and Pastor Mike Lauridsen officiating. Burial in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
