Rosemary B. Short, 71, of Roanoke, Va., went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 2, 2019.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James B. and Flossie V. Ballard.
Surviving is her husband, Ronald L. Short; son, Ronald K. “Keith” Short and significant other, Michelle D. Russell; sister, Wanda B. Reed and husband, John; niece, Jeannie A. Myers and husband, Ricky; great-nieces, Lindsey K. and Alexis B. Manning; and numerous other loved ones and friends.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019, at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel with Pastor Dennis Jennings officiating. Interment will follow in Mayflower Hills Baptist Church Cemetery, Roanoke. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019, at the funeral home.
