Daniel Lewis "Danny" Holland, 63, of Vinton, passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2009. He was born August 21, 1945, to the late Robert Daniel Holland and Fannie Frances Anderson Holland. Daniel retired from Elizabeth Arden after 30 years service and was a charter member of the Stewartsville Lions Club. Survivors include his wife, Brenda M. Holland; one brother, Ernest Wayne Holland and wife, Jacquelyne; mother-in-law, Ruby D. Smith; sister-in-law, Kathy M. Hale; brother-in-law, Thomas A. Milton; numerous nieces and nephews. Also several cousins. Very special pets, Patches and Bandit. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2009, from Lotz Vinton Chapel. The Rev. Ricardo Rodriguez will officiate. Burial to follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Flowers will be appreciated but donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, S.C. 29605. The family would like to convey a special thanks to the personnel in Medical ICU at Lewis-Gale for their loving care.
