About | Brandy Leigh Cupp Jensen, 30 of Roanoke, was released from her suffering on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Karen Claris; grandfather, Don Cupp and cousin, Jessica Cupp. She is survived by her devoted husband, Travis Jensen and daughter Rhiannon. Those left to celebrate her life are her mother, Cindy Cupp; father, Roger and Brenda Cupp; sister, Caroline Cupp and Ben White; aunt, Mary and Richard Zirkle; mother-in-law, Teresa and Rodney Stamback; father-in-law, Eric and Perla Jensen; brother-in-law, Joshua, Laura and Kayla Jensen; stepsisters, Cristy Stamback and Brandie Mattox; grandparents, Steve and Robin Claris, Mary Cupp; godparents, MaryAnn and Phillip Anderson; uncles, Ronnie and Dee Cupp, Robert and Jennifer Cupp; aunts, Janee Sahady, Susan and Ted Tyson; many cousins, nieces, nephews and special friends. Brandy was a joy to all who met her with a smile that lit up the room and a song in her heart. Her love of music was profound throughout her life from the church choir to sharing her talent at karaoke as a singer and KJ. Her many talents included creative writing and horseback riding. Brandy was devoted to her husband, daughter and extended family. Travis' devoted love and care provided relief and comfort during her five year battle with dermatomyositis. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm Friday, June 8, 2012 at Bonsack United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be at 11am Saturday June 9, 2012 at the same location. Rev. Tim Tate and Rev. Veronica Venable will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to the Rhiannon Jensen Donation Fund at any Wells Fargo bank. The family would like to thank the staff of Springtree Health and Rehab Center for their loving care during her stay. |
