About	Larry Eugene Ransom, 39, of Vinton, died Saturday, September 5, 1998. He is survived by his parents, Martha Jean and Winfred "Sonny" Ransom, Vinton; a sister and brother-in-law, Linda Ransom Drum and Gary R. Drum, Virginia Beach; a brother, Linwood Ransom, Bedford; paternal grandmother, Eunice I. Ransom; and a niece, Kara Nichole Ransom, Vinton. Funeral services will be conducted 12 noon Friday, September 11, 1998 at Lotz Vinton Chapel with the Rev. Tommy Hurt officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
