About	Garry Wayne Groff, 57, of Vinton, passed away with his family at his side on Sunday, October 29, 2017. He was born January 27, 1960 in Bethesda Maryland, son of the late Edward Eugene Groff, Sr., and Iris Ailene "Iboo" Spradling Groff. Garry loved art and music, drawing, painting; he has traveled the world with rock bands playing keyboard. He was a longtime employee of Wurth Revcar company. He is survived by his daughter, Cassie Groff and her boyfriend Stephen Wood; granddaughter, Lottie Wood; stepson, Josh Taylor and wife, Lindsay; stepdaughter, Lindsey Hudson, step-grandchilden, J.J. Manning and Dylan Lee; two brothers, Ed Groff, Jr., and wife Margaret, Rick Groff and wife, Carla; a nephew, Parker Groff; two nieces, Channing Sain and husband, John, Olivia Groff; a special friend JeAnna Turner; and numerous family members and friends. A Celebration of his life will be held 12:00 noon on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Oakey's Vinton Chapel. Rev. Donna Hopkins Britt will officiate and interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers please consider memorials to the American Cancer Society. His family will receive friends on Thursday from 11:00 AM until service time at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
