Pamela Almond Abshire, 58, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018. She was born in Roanoke, September 11, 1959. She is the daughter of Bessie Cabiness Almond of Clifton Forge and the late Kenneth Dewitt Almond of Roanoke. Pamela worked for Carilion Cardiology Associates. She loved going on cruises with her Mother and loved watching “Gunsmoke”. In addition to her Mother, Pamela is survived by her husband of 23 years, Daniel Ray Abshire, her Son Eddie Wilbourn and wife Crystal, and their daughter Ella Dru Wilbourn; daughter, Kayla Abshire; two brothers, Kenneth Almond; and wife Regina, James Almond and wife Mona; a sister Cindy Abbott and husband Glenn, numerous nieces, nephews, family members and friends. A celebration of her life will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Oakey’s Vinton Chapel. Pastor Jeff Gardner will officiate. Her family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM until service time.
