Betsy Hogan Weaver, 60, of Vinton went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 28, 2019. She was born in Roanoke, Va to Rosie Stovall Hogan and the late Louis Hogan.
Betsy is survived by her husband, Alvin R. Weaver; children, Derek A. Rivers and his wife, Angela, Nathan C. Rivers and his wife, Kayse, David S. Weaver, Michael G. Weaver, Lee E. Weaver; six grandchildren, Elijah, Tabitha, Ruby, Parker, Brayden and Savannah; siblings, Linda Hogan Dore and her husband, Bob, Jim Hogan and his wife, Cathy, Mark Hogan and his wife, Sandra; numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Betsy loved following her beloved Boston Red Sox, UVA and Tennessee Vols. She was a faithful member of Clearbrook Baptist Church, where she loved serving her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She graduated from William Byrd High School in 1976. Betsy was employed at the Salem VA Medical Center as an Insurance Coder.
Interment at Mountain View Cemetery, Vinton.
