First Lieutenant, US Army Terry L. Plunk was killed in action at the Al-Salman Airfield in Kuwait while in support of Operation Desert Storm. Terry, a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute class of 1988, was a member of the 82nd Airborne Division and was from Vinton, Virginia.
