About	Carson Eugene Short, 58 of Hardy, VA passed away Friday, September 28, 2012. He was a truck driver for 40 years and was employed at Ply-Gem of Rocky Mount, VA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Gloria Short and father-in-law, Jim Propps. Survivors include his wife, Donna Marie Short; children, Amanda Mundy and Larry Rosser, Justin Short and Shelby Plunkett and Kaitlyn Short; grandchildren, Rylee Short and Blake Rosser; sister, Vicky Cawley and husband, Barry; brother, Steve Short; niece and nephews, Kristin Cawley, Robert Cawley and Dylan Short; mother-in-law, Annabelle Propps; brother-in-law, James Propps; Many aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends, Jimmy Johnson, Gary Thurman, Conrad Dooley and The Dooley Gang. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11:00 AM at White Rock Baptist Church, Hardy, VA 24101 with Rev. Glen Stinnett officiating. Interment will follow at White Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM at the church prior to the service. Arrangements by Lotz Funeral Home, Vinton Chapel.
