About	Edward Lee Lyle, 59, died on November 10, 2013 at home. Eddie was born on June 14, 1954 and attended William Byrd High School. Eddie's company, Edward L. Lyle Plastering, Inc., served the greater Roanoke area for many years. Eddie enjoyed spending time with family and friends and afternoons in his Mokai on the river. Eddie loved football, racing, enjoying the beautiful outdoors, but what he loved most were his two children. Eddie was the most positive, humble, and enthusiastic person. Dad taught us how important family is, what real friendship looks like, and to look for the sunshine in every situation. Eddie is survived by his two devoted children Kaitlyn and Matthew, lifetime friend Linda Lyle, loving mother Joyce (Jo) Lyle, brother Ricky Lyle and wife Joyce Lyle, Sister Candy Lyle Leftwich, and true best friend Josie; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. His father James E. Lyle, Jr. and niece Whitney S. Leftwich predeceased Eddie. Funeral services will be held 12:00 Noon Thursday, November 14, 2013 at Oakey's East Chapel with Pastor Joey Phillips officiating. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8P.M. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at Oakey's East Chapel.
